jmac + kmac: Easter 2021.

I was going through old post drafts and realized that I'd never posted these photos from our Easter last year!! Whoops! Haha. So I figured I'd get them up now--to have them for memory's sake. Because these photos are just too precious to forget!!

We had such a great Easter!!

I always love taking photos all dressed up in our Easter Sunday best, and this year the kids just looked so cute! The boys looked so handsome in their matching pink ties, and Monroe was just a doll baby with her pink dress and her little palm tree ponytail.

We went to the arboretum to take some photos (and to crack open the piñata full of candy that the Easter Bunny brought! I think this might be a new tradition)!

I love snapping some individual shots of each of the kids every Easter. It's so fun to look back through the years and see how much they've grown!!

Up first, we have Boston Emery at nine years old! Such a handsome dude, with the biggest heart. Love him!!

Second, Camden Race at age seven! I will never be over this boy and his dimples. Like for real! He's the craziest, and I love him.

Next we have Holland Beck at five! What a little squishable hunk!! My gosh, this boy is the best.

And the fourth boy in the line-up, Brighton James at age four. Love this little bean SO much!

And lastly, our Miss Monroe Skye at fifteen months. I love her I love her I love her!!

It is crazy to me how different they all are!! Right from the get-go, they were all so unique. I just love them SO MUCH. And also, how do I have five kids?? Sometimes it just hits me and I'm like--WHOA.

Piñata time!!!

The Easter Bunny brought a piñata and some baskets to collect the candy, and it worked out to be great bribery to use so they would smile for the pictures.

"Just smile big, and then we can hit the piñata and get candy!!!" Haha.

It was a little unconventional, but you know what? They LOVED it. They asked if the Easter Bunny could bring us a piñata every year!

The kids (and Jord) are always such good sports for all of the picture-taking. They know it's important to me, so they make it happen. And I love them for it!

Even these little background, behind the scenes photos are so worth the hassle to me. I never want to forget this time of our life!
