Happy Easter!!
This Easter was a little bit different than ones in the past because of the quarantine, but we still had a really, really great day. We got dressed up and snapped some Easter photos yesterday (because of the rain today), and then this morning we had a simple Easter church service at home. We focused on Jesus Christ, and we talked about how we can all be together as a family forever because of His atoning sacrifice.
I will always cherish the memory of talking about The Savior in our living room on Easter Sunday. Even though the kids are little, they soak up so much and they almost always teach us more than we teach them. I love them so much!
Each of the kids are so different, and I love to see their crazy personalities come out in pictures. Also, it was SO FUN to add Monroe to the Easter photos this year! I cannot even handle how precious she looked in her Easter dress and bonnet.

^MY HEART^ |
^They're all obsessed with baby Monroe^ |
My gosh--I just love all of them so much!!
Now time for a quick spotlight.
First up, Boston Emery!
Boston is 8.5, and he's the best older brother and ring leader of our kids. Boston loves Pokemon, reading (especially books about zombies or history), cheeseburgers, drawing comics, riding his bike, finding fossils, and playing any and every sport. He could shoot hoops for hours, and he does--every day--on his over-the-door hoop in our house. He knows random facts about literally everything, and will talk to anyone about those facts--anytime, anywhere. Haha! He is the kind of kid that everyone wants to be friends with, because he has the kindest heart and the most infectious zest for life. We just love him!
Next up is our Camden Race!
Camden is 6.5, and he is such a character. Like, seriously. He has the sweetest, most tender heart, but can somehow also cause the most mischief and trouble. Haha! I'm not sure how that works, but he's mastered it so well. Camden loves candy, word searches, watching his Uncle Tanner in Studio C, inventing games, making up riddles, riding his bike dangerously fast down hills (he gives me a heart attack), doing 1000 piece puzzles with his dad, and learning about how Disneyland rides were made. But most of all, Camden LOVES his baby sister Monroe. He is the sweetest, most attentive brother to her, and tells her how much he loves her at least a thousand times a day.
I overheard him today as he yelled in exasperation, "Ah! Monroe, why are you so cute???"
We love our Cammers so much, and we are still not over his crater dimples.
Third in the line-up is our Holland Beck!
Oh boy, where to begin with our Beckster-meister?? Holland is almost 5, and he just has the type of personality that can't be ignored. Haha! He's loud and proud, and lights up every room he walks into. He is quite the dude! Holland loves riding his scooter, doing home-school with the big boys, chili (literally canned chili is his favorite thing. haha!), shooting hoops with Boston, coloring, hanging with his best buddy Seth, playing board games, being a big brother to Brighton, and helping me bake cookies or make dinner. Holland is always ON, and he's always up for an adventure.
Man, we love our little bud.
The last boy in the line-up is our Brighton James!
Brighton is 3, and he's turning out to be quite the little spitfire. He is sweet and cuddly, but if you get on his bad side you'd better run for cover. Haha! Brighton loves trains and cars, McDonald's yogurt parfaits, doing puzzles, playing with his buddy Holland, fruit snacks, making up silly words to songs he knows, PJ Masks, stickers, playing in the kiddie pool in the yard, Frozen II, reading books with mom or dad, Paw Patrol, eating ice cream every night before bed, and giving his baby sister kisses. He calls her a "he" and says things like, "He's my baby and he's cute!" and we just can't correct him because it's adorable.
He is the sweetest boy, and we just love him.
And finally, our caboose--Monroe Skye!
Monroe is 11 weeks old, and she is completely PERFECT. You might think I'm biased (...okay, maybe I am), but she is seriously the most amazing baby. She is content almost all of the time, and she has pretty much slept through the night for almost two weeks now. She is starting to coo and talk so much, and her voice is just the most precious thing in the universe. She puts up with all of her brothers fighting over her, and she's such a good sport being in the center of chaos. Adding a girl to our bunch has been a dream. She is absolutely a ray of sunshine--especially in this weird COVID 19 time-- and we are just SO grateful for her!
We love our little Monroe!
We feel so lucky to have our five sweet kids! They're crazy, and being stuck at home during this quarantine has been absolute chaos at times, but they've all been SUCH good sports. I cannot imagine life without them.
But as much as I love them, their dad will always be my favorite. I am the luckiest girl to have him.
We are so blessed. What a great Easter!!
And also, cake. Because what's a holiday without cake? (This one was coconut. My favorite!)
