Here is a pic of Jord in our hostel the first night. We shared a room with a couple from London that were backpacking Europe, and a couple from Japan that spoke absolutely zero English. :-) Pretty fun!
Here are a couple of pictures of a beautiful walkway in Old Town, Tallin.

This is a monument to one of the oldest residents of Tallin. He was an old guy who lived until he was 97 in the early 1600's, and he stayed inside his house his whole life. It was later discovered that his window was directly across from a girls dormitory bathroom, so this "peeping tom" monument was made just for him. :-)
Jord by one of the oldest doors in Tallin, dedicated to their first African American leader.
Cobblestone streets!
Cobblestone streets!
Here are some pictures of the old castle fortress walls! It was incredible to walk these streets that have been around for hundreds of years!
Jord and I by one of the oldest wells in Estonia. At one time, because of a crazy story and the Estonians extreme superstition, they drowned all of the cats in Tallin in this well. Crazy!
This is part of the fortress wall where the Estonians battled the Dutch for their freedom a few hundred years ago. The history of this place is so amazing!
This was the way into our hostel... into a gate, around and through some old buildings, up a twisty staircase, through a couple of creaky doors, and into our hostel.
We ate at a cute little castle restraunt inside of the fortress wall. We were the only customers, and the old Estonian owner was so great!
The Dancing Eesti! One of our favorite Hostel experiences ever. The owner was a cool Australian guy who showed us all of the awesome things to do in Tallin. We had a blast here!
The hostel owner told us about a cool underground shop that an old Jewish Babushka owns. It was sort of like an antique vintage store with PILES of clothes, for dirt cheap! I got a skirt and Jord got a couple of sweet ties, all for less that 4 bucks. So cool!
We went into a museum of Estonian history that was actually inside one of the towers of the castle fortress. It wound up and into the tower. So cool!
We traveled through all of the countries total backpacker style! We both just wore backpacks and crammed everything we needed for a week and a half into the backpack Jord carried. As you can see, it was quite the beast. We appropriately dubbed it "The Grinch." :-)
Here is a video of Jord and I in the main town square in Estonia!
