DISNEYLAND + CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE {Day 2}

After a good nights sleep (of falling into bed and crashing hard) after our first day of Disneyland, we were back bright and early the next day for more!

We started off in Disneyland, hit up some of the things we missed the day before, and then went over to California Adventure afterwards. Both parks are just SO awesome, so we knew we had to squeeze in both!! And even though we only had two days, I'm so glad we did.

First up, Disneyland!
^LOVE HIM^
On our second day at Disneyland, we headed to Toontown right off the bat, where the boys got to meet Goofy and Pluto!! It was pretty much the cutest thing ever to watch them hug the characters. They were so happy!

They also loved playing in the little cars and toys around toontown, and their favorite thing ever was Mickey's Toontown Rollercoaster. They wanted to ride it again and again (...well, except for Holland. He wasn't a fan at all and cried the whole time. Haha).
^Sweetest ever^
^So classic
^Holland was just a tad nervous for Mickey's roller coaster^
^Cannot wait to make him recreate this in ten years!^
-----CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE-----

After Disneyland, we headed over to California Adventure for the rest of the day!

The boys couldn't wait to see Cars Land, and I couldn't either!! I hadn't ever seen it, and holy cow. It was the cutest thing of my life. Seriously.

With the life-size Cars driving around, the music, the little diners, and the Cars Ride...it might have been my favorite part of the park. It was just so perfect!
^How cute is this Camden boy?? And those Buzz and Woody cars. Dying!^
^Taking a sit break!
^Cam & Uncle Tanner!^

We took turns going on the Cars Ride with our Fast Passes and Rider swap (The ONLY way to do that ride! The line is always insanity!!), and we set up camp in Flo's Diner for whoever was waiting. It worked out perfect! It was air conditioned, plus the food was awesome!

I got the hot turkey sandwich, and holy smokes, it was so good! Totally hit the spot after literally trekking for miles all over the parks on on warm day.
^DELISH^
^There was the cutest little dancing car show outside the restaurant, and the kids loved it!^
^HOLDING HANDS. My heart is a puddle.^
After Cars Land, we walked over to A Bug's Land!

This one was one of my favorites as a kid, and it was so much fun to share it with my boys. They loved it! It was especially nice to have some smaller rides geared specifically for little kids, so they didn't have to worry about things going too fast or getting scared by anything.

The rides in A Bug's Land were just perfect for my crew of little guys.
^Matching sisters!^
^Recreating an awkward pic from our childhood. Haha^

^Brighton was the cutest on the ladybug ride. He equally loved it and hated it, in alternating moments. Haha!^
^Cutie boys in line with Aunt Whit^
I think the caterpillar ride was Holland's favorite.

He talks about it all the time still! In fact, he just saw these pictures and said,

"Oooh! I yuv dat caterpillar one. It's pretty fweet!" Haha
^Hi, Brights!^
The kids were pretty tired by this point in the day, so we split up for a bit. A bunch of the older crew went to the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride, while some of us stayed back with the little guys and went to Mickey's Dance Party!

It was the CUTEST. Brighton was dancing his little heart out. It was perfect to sit for a minute, and the show was so darling for the kiddos.
^Not a great pic, but Brighton was rocking out!^
Afterwards, we got ourselves some TREATS. Because obviously!

I've said it before and I'll say it again--Disney treats are just unreal. So worth all of the calories!! (Plus your walking a ton so it doesn't count, right? Haha.)

Then on we met up with the rest of our group, and saw some superheroes on our way over to Pixar Pier!
^Fruity Pebble Funnel Cake Fries. YES^
^How cute is this Monsters Inc. ice cream whoopie pie?? It was so good!^
^Spotted: Black Panther!^
^Boston and Loki!
^Pooped^
^In line for Toy Story Mania!^
^Cuties^
Then we walked along the boardwalk and found some dinner!

...But not before Tann & Whit did an epic song and dance with the kids on their shoulders haha. Hashtag, musical theater siblings.
At the end of the night, we had time for one more ride before the light parade! The kids chose the Luigi's Roadster ride, and it was so cute!

We all loved it, and it was so fun to see Cars Land lit up at night! Just magical. (Can you tell I was obsessed with Cars Land? Okay good. Haha!)
^Always with the light saber.^
^Lovebirds^
^Weirdos^
Then it was time for the light parade!!

Just know that even though the quality of these dark iPhone pics are 4/10, the parade was a solid 10/10. The absolute BEST way to end a trip to the parks!!
^Holland on Grandpa's shoulders^
^Just magical^
^Crashed on our way back to the condo^
You guys, this Disney trip was the absolute BEST.

I can't even tell you!!!!!

I'm so glad we made it happen. It was pure magic to take our kiddos there for the first time, and it made it ten times better to have my family there with us. We can't wait to go again someday, but in the meantime, we will look at these photos a thousand times and remember how much fun it was.

We love you, Disneyland!!

(P.S., Get excited, because a VIDEO of our trip is coming soon!! Yay!)
