Christmas 2018.

This past Christmas was SO much fun.

Christmas is always magical with kids, but this year the boys were just at the perfect ages to enjoy it. My sister's family joined us for Christmas too, and it made it all the more special to have them here with us. It was just the best!

We also tried to really focus this year on more meaningful gifts, and we started a new tradition of giving "experience gifts" to each of the kids. We didn't know how they would handle this idea because it's kind of non-traditional, but they absolutely LOVED it. (I'll have to do a whole separate post about the experience gifts, because they each of them turned out so fun!)

--CHRISTMAS EVE--
The boys were so excited to put on their jammies on Christmas Eve, because they knew when they did that, Santa was on his way. I swear Christmas Eve is the only time you have to TRY to keep your kids from going to bed early. Haha!

I cannot get over these photos of them together. Such cute little stripey elves!! Also baby Beckham...could you just die over him??
^SO CUTE^
^Wrapping presents late into the night, while watching It's a Wonderful Life. Just the best.^
--CHRISTMAS MORNING--

The kids woke up bright and early, and they were dying to see if Santa came. They ran down the stairs, and their cute faces just lit up when they saw that there were presents. There really is nothing like Christmas morning with kids!
^Let the madness begin!!^
^He was so excited to get the "blue camera" he asked for!^
^He begged for a snow gun, so Santa got creative! haha^

^Harry Potter Lego set!!^
^Obsessed with his new slide^

^These two. They're crazy!^
We always have the boys draw names for each other, and watching them give the gifts they've picked out is one of my favorite parts of Christmas. It's just the sweetest.

Boston noticed that Brighton picked out this mini-grocery cart every time we went to the toy store, so he got it for him. I wish you could have seen Brighton's face with Boston carried it around the corner with a big ribbon tied around it. He was SO happy, and he didn't let it out of his sight for the rest of the day.
^So excited^

^Brighton "picked out" this magna doodle pad for Holland^
^Camden picked out this stuffed Harry Potter for Boston, since they both love HP. So cute.^
^Cutest moment. And Cam got a bead set from Holland, and wouldn't put it down. He was so excited^
^Jord made this art print for the Minettos of the day they brought Beckham home from the hospital. So precious^
Syd and Ty gave the kids this awesome pop-up maze! They're obsessed with building hide-outs with blankets and chairs, so this was perfect for them. Give boys a "fort," and they'll be happy for days.

^Accidentally captured this moment in the middle of all the Christmas chaos. So sweet.^
Grandma and Grandpa Gillman sent the kids an awesome present this year...a bouncy house! The kids absolutely freaked out when they saw it, and couldn't believe that it was theirs. They still play on it every single day. It's the gift that keeps on giving!!

Here are some cute photos that Boston captured with his new camera.
He's quite a photographer, and I love how much he loves it.

^Cam's present to mom and dad: A painting of a dabbing reindeer. Haha! The cutest.^
We have a tradition of inviting the LDS missionaries over for Christmas dinner, and so we planned a big feast for them (and our two families!) this year. It was so good, and we had leftovers for days.
^Full table, full bellies^
^the cool kid table^

^Cutest little fam^
^Playing with Aunt Syd^
^Post-dinner games^
^Love the missionaries!^

What a great Christmas.

We are so lucky to have celebrated it with the Minettos, and we will always cherish these memories!
