Three years ago, he put a ring on it.

 Guess what?
Jordan and I (me and Jordan? I should know this...) have been married for THREE years!
It is just crazy to me.
Who would have thought that in three years we would have...

got married
lived in five cities, two states, and three countries
had two kids
graduated from BYU-Idaho together with our bachelor's degrees
been accepted to grad school in Lexington, Kentucky,
and traveled to 12 countries together.
...

After thinking back on all we have done, it feels like we have been married
for ten years...not three.
It's nuts!! I love Jordan Race more than I ever thought I could.
He is kind of my favorite.
(...shhhh, don't tell Boston. He's kind of a sensitive momma's boy right now.)

To celebrate our anniversary, we ate food!
Texas Roadhouse, baby.
Let me just tell you something.
Every time we go to this place,
I embark on a love affair with the rolls and cinnamon butter.
And they just keep bringing them to you!!
It's a problem.

We left Boston boy with a babysitter (Thank you Jarmans!!),
but boy #2 tagged along with us.
I guess when your mom is the food wagon...
you get to join in on lots of adventures that your brother doesn't.
So is life.

Um, he's cute.

Thanks for an amazing three years, my man!!
In the words of Selena Gomez,
I, I love you like a love song baby,
and I keep hitting
re-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat.

(Oh Selena, how you make me cringe.)

But seriously, I LOVE YOU!
Happy anniversary, you sexay thing, you.

Got a Basketball Jones, oh baby, oo-oo-ooo.

Please tell me you know what song I am singing there.
(Chris Rock? Space Jam? Anybody anybody?)

I won't bore you with telling you for the millionth time how obsessed boy #1 is with basketball.
(Is it okay if I resort to numbering my children, now that I have two?
I feel like it is appropriate to begin that tradition.)

Anyways.
He is beyond obsessed.
Here are some cute pictures from a random Monday evening to prove it.

While the guys played, I bombarded boy #2's tent-of-wonder with
an annoying flashing camera light.
Poor Cam Bam.
But if my children must learn anything, it is that a camera will be shoved into
their faces for the rest of their lives...so what better time to learn that fact then now?

He's a stinking cute little goob.
I kind of love him- just a titch.

Also, I love this man.
(man #1?)
(nope...that's pushing it.)

Favorite photo of the day award goes to...

 I mean seriously.
Is that tiny human in a giant field not the cutest thing ever?

I will say this, though.
He is the cutest kid on the playground (a non-biased statement...),
but he is thee wimpiest kid on the playground.
He stayed and played on these steps for probably, oh, a solid hour.
We've got to work on his bravery-ness.
For sure.

Anyways, then we went to Cold Stone.
Well, at first we tried to get root beer floats in frosty mugs from KFC/A&W,
because who doesn't love a good root beer float?
But then they were like
"We only have Mug rootbeer from the fountain"
and we realized that it was just a KFC...not an A&W...
and so they could only provide nasty chicken and not root beer floats.

It was awkward.

Hence, the Cold Stone.

So that was that!

Hey hey hey, it's Father's Day!

I don't know what inspired the jiggity-jig song title for this post,
but hey!
Just go with it.

As I was searching for pictures for this post, I started to feel really sentimental
and mushy gushy about stuff.
More specifically, about all of the awesomely incredible dads in my life.
Who are these stalwart fellows, you ask?
Let me introduce you to some of the coolest dads in town.
(or I guess, in several towns)

Side tangent:
Please notice that they are all insanely tan, year-round.
And they always look even tanner when they stand next to me, because I am, as you say,
"casper the ghost."
Again, curse you and your white-skinned genes, mother!
(Just kidding mom, I love you. And since you live in southern Utah,
you're not actually pasty at all anymore.)

Okay, back to Happy Father's Day business!
This first guy is such a good man.
He is genuine, caring, and one of the best listeners I know.
He works hard, and he has raised some awesome kids!!
So awesome, in fact, that I married one of them.
Thank you for being such a great dad to Jord, Father-in-law to me,
but more importantly,
an AWESOME grandpa to Bost and Cam!
We love you.

Next in the line-up, my dad!
This man has the most giving heart I have ever seen.
(I mean, I haven't actually seen the heart, but just go with it.)
He is such a hard working human, and he has touched so many lives for the better.
He is pretty awesome.
Also, he spoils the *boop* out of my children, and they love it!
Thanks for being such a great dad and grandpa...
we love you!

Lastly, but definitely not least (ly?),
is my main man, Jordan Race.
When I imagined how the father of my children would be,
I never in a million years dreamed he would be as cool, smart, funny, caring,
patient, crazy, and loving as this guy right here.
I'm pretty sure I loved him a whole lot when we got married,
but then we had kids. And I saw him as a dad.
And my heart melted a million times over.
(I am even getting teary-eyed writing this! I know I know, cheeseball fest.)

But really, Jord, you are the best.
Like, the very very best.
Our boys are so lucky to have a dad like you!!
We love you just about

thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis
 much.

Probably more.

Happy Father's Day, you three!!
You guys are the bomb diggity.

Another overdue picture overload! Brace yourself.

Guys, I am the worst at blogging right now.
There once was a time when I was like *BOOM!* new post every day...
but then I added another bundle of beautiful, screaming, pooping joy into my life,
and the blogging idea became a distant hope and dream.
Haha.

I laugh, but oh, how I would most definitely choose a nap over a new post
about 99% of the time.
But don't hate, okay?
(do people even say that phrase anymore?)
Because look! Here I am! Making a post! Whoop whoop!
Okay.

So about a week after we had our little guy,
who we have affectionally dubbed "Cam Bam," by the way,
the Wrights came to visit!
We always love spending time with those guys!!

Their little Abbi is getting sooooo big!
Well actually, she still probably weighs less than Boston's big toe, but she is growing up! :-)
She is just a doll.
Boston isn't quite sure of her, though.

See what I mean?

At least he let her read his book from a distance...
yep- we need to work on the whole sharing idea asap.

Her big blue eyes!!
This is so blurry but so darling.
I love it.

Boston has had quite the time getting used to Camden.
He is pretty good for the most part, but gets really worried whenever Cam cries.
When I don't leap up to retrieve my crying babe right away, Boston worridly asks,

"I get? I get?"

(Toddler translation: "You want me to just go get him, mom, since you seem to be sleeping there on the couch in your pajamas at 3 in the afternoon?")

I stinking love the kid.

Thanks for coming to visit, Wrights!!
We can't wait to hang out with you again soon.

(Again, this is blurry but darling. Blast you, camera! You make me mad a lot.)

That same week, my parents and two of my siblings came up to see Camden for the first time!
They just gobbled him up.
(Not literally, come on now.)

Random side note:
Boston struggles with the word "grandma."
"Grandpa" is no biggie, he just says "Papa."
But grandma is another story.
You want to know how he says it?

"Gong Gong."

It is kind of the funniest Chinese version of the word ever!! Haha. Anywho.

Lets take a moment and notice three things about this next picture:
1- My dad is always this tan...even when its the dead of winter. Then why am I so pasty white, you ask? All thanks to my mom's genes. It's kind of a bummer.

2-Cam is making the most awesome drunken sailor face ever.
3-My dad is completely oblivious to the giant barf stain on his shirt. The mark of a grandpa!

Whit loved the new little guy.
(Girl, you be glowing here!)

Tann?
Not so much.

Just kidding! Haha sorry Tann, that oblivious angry face was just too good to pass up.

Tanner was great with him too, but the adorable picture of him and Cam together
is on my smartphone, which is a shame.
Because here's the thing.
I don't really know how to work the blasted phone to get the pictures from it...
onto my computer. Ridiculous, right???? I know I know.
Someone teach me the ways of technology!!!

Anyways.
More cute baby photos.

What a good little brother I have.
A little brother who towers over me and has the cutest girlfriend ever. I am still weirded out by that!
(the towering part, not the cute girlfriend part)

And what a cute sister and mom.
Wouldn't you agree?

(Syd, you are cute too.)

We loved having friends and family come to visit!!
Thanks for coming to see us, guys!
We love your guts.

Introducing: Camden Race McMurtrey!

Well, now that two weeks have passed, I figured it was time to post about
our new little baby!
Sorry for the delay, but a new baby keeps you pretty busy! :-)

Just as I was beginning to think that our little boy decided to make
a permanent residence out of my tummy, he decided to make his debut!
Camden Race McMurtrey was born on Saturday, May 11th, at 9:37 A.M.
He weighed 8 lbs, 2 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
He was born with a full head of hair, just like his brother!
He is absolutely perfect, and we just love having him in our family.

And now...get ready for a picture overload!

My boys have their daddy to thank for all of their hair!!
They definitely got it from him.

Boston was definitely unsure of the whole baby idea for a while.
He is warming up to him now, and he will be such a great big brother, I am sure of it!
But boy, were those first few days rough.
Boston did not like that he had to share mommy and daddy.
The only way I could get him to come near me in the hospital was by
bribing him with my awesome "cup."
Whatever works! :-)

I sure love that Boston boy of mine.

Here is our first attempt at a family photo with the four of us.
(Did you hear that...the FOUR of us....it blows my mind!!)

Jord's family was able to come up right away, and they loved baby Cam!
They entertained Boston for us, and he had a blast with them.
Thanks Mac fam, we owe you guys!!

This boy loves his daddy SO much!

It was bittersweet to leave the hospital.
Sweet because I couldn't WAIT to be with Boston again,
but bitter because, well, no one would bring me food or take my baby
at the push of a button once I got home. :-)

Isn't it crazy how you can love a little person so much??

Camden wasn't a huge fan of the car seat...and cried pretty much the whole way home.
He still hates the thing!
But hey, doesn't he look cute in it??

Boston was so happy to see us when we pulled up,
but he was a little confused why "Baby Tam" came with us.
That took some getting used to!

My best friend Jordan came up to see the new baby!
It was so fun to see her for a little bit.

The Mac family had to head home, and we were sad to see them go!
Boston asked where they were for the next week...at least five times a day.
He loves them!

My sister Syd was also able to come up right away,
and we loved having her here! It's always a party when Syd is here.
She is such a help to have around!

We gave Camden his first bath the day after we brought him home.
He loved the warm water.
What a little cutie!

Isn't this sad face the cutest??

This baby has so much hair!!
It kills me.

We are LOVING our new little man.
He is such a sweetheart!
We can't imagine our family without him.
Thank you all for the sweet messages, texts, and calls!
We feel so very blessed!!
